What's The Matter With Kalifornia? How Democrats Lost Their Big D Energy
A Shakedown of the 2024 Kalifornia Koup
Growing up as an elder millennial, we were always on notice that California had to be at the ready for “the Big One”—a cataclysmic earthquake capable of inestimable damage on Southern California. The San Andreas Fault, much like acid rain or the improbable threat of quicksand, was one of Mother Nature’s biggest looming dangers.

Now, as it runs the Democratic Party, California itself has become one of the biggest threats to democracy. The state’s solidly blue politics and the glitzy glare of “liberal” Hollywood have long allowed it to skate by as one of the biggest threats to the American public at large. There are a few states that never really felt like they are part of the United States, with California leading the way, followed by Florida, Texas, and Las Vegas (which functions as a laissez-faire outpost of California). What unites them? A toxic mix of the highest levels of illegal immigration, human trafficking, drug trafficking, & defense spending.
Hypernormalisation:
Don’t Let Oligarchs Choose Your Scapegoats
In the United States, a lot of dirty money comes from ensuring that “illegal” residents remain undocumented. This protects the trade routes of illicit goods and de facto slaves flowing. Ensuring the wealthy can continue to subvert countless labor, environmental, and tax laws to further enrich themselves. A lot of this money gets cleaned through real estate, leading to an absurd reality: There are currently “28 vacant homes for every one person experiencing homelessness in the U.S.”
These are pressing concerns for our society, but they are more complicated than broadly understood. This explains, for example, why no meaningful, solution-focused immigration reform has emerged in decades. Maintaining the status quo is too profitable for our corporate captured government and too lucrative for easily corrupted government employees.
“‘HyperNormalisation’ is a word that was coined by a brilliant Russian historian who was writing about what it was like to live in the last years of the Soviet Union. What he said, which I thought was absolutely fascinating, was that in the 80s everyone from the top to the bottom of Soviet society knew that it wasn’t working, knew that it was corrupt, knew that the bosses were looting the system, know that the politicians had no alternative vision. And they knew that the bosses knew that they knew that. Everyone knew it was fake, but because no one had any alternative vision for a different kind of society, they just accepted this sense of total fakeness as normal.”
Watch the complete Hypernormalisation (2016) documentary by Adam Curtis on Youtube.
“Big D” Democrats often harp on issues pertaining to identity, due to the taken for granted demographics of their party, but that’s just their knee—superficially championing multiculturalism and marginalized identities rather than addressing deep-seated structural problems.
California is unique from Florida and Texas because it is a global powerhouse—if it was a country it would boast the 5th biggest economy in the world. But in the shadows of its brilliant expensive spotlight lies a darker reality: staggering income inequality, an unusual number of cults, and the origins of many serial killers.
After The Gold Rush: The Western Front Of The American Empire
If California were a country, it would have the fifth largest GDP in the world. That is a tremendous amount of power concentrated amongst the state’s industry and government leadership—leaders who have long ignored the American ideals of democracy and freedom in favor of hyper-focusing on bastions of liberal social mores (identity politics), by which white women have benefited the most.
As its post-war economy and population boomed, the Golden State’s government, housing, schools, and urban infrastructure were challenged in keeping pace with this rapid expansion. The militarization-industrialization that had put California on a wartime footing would later transform California into the nation’s most populous and wealthiest peacetime state. - State of California Capitol Museum
Sure... California is solidly delivering the blues, but that doesn't really explainthe immense power wielded by various mafias, oligarchs, cartels, and foreign state actors in the region. (We can get into the noteworthy Republican California governors later.)
Infotainment: The Über Export of California
Barak Obama was the first true infotainment presidential candidate. He was derided as being a mere “celebrity” lumped in with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, while marketing himself as making his bones as a community organizer in Chicago’s Southside. That’s the cover story: Obama emerged from Chicago’s Daley Machine, itself a natural outgrowth of The Outfit—the criminal network established by Al Capone.
Chicagoland gangsters founded the present-day power network of Hollywood and Las Vegas, while simultaneously acting as privatized muscle for covert operations and psyops within the national security apparatus. The liberal framing of the Obama administration is a perfect example of hypernormalisation—the oversimplification of complex problems so that the public is unable to identify actionable remedies. Obama stayed true its gangster origins while also being beholden (or emboldened?) to additional power centers like Wall Street, California, and Las Vegas.
It is wild Obama has long skated by for bailing out the big banks during the 2008 financial crisis. Many, including myself, were conditioned to acknowledge this fact but to ultimately overlook it, as any attack on Obama was framed as racist within liberal elite circles (particularly by the media).
The intersection of Hollywood and D.C. has driven my four-year-long investigation into how Britney Spears’ conservatorship happened in plain sight. It was overtly backed by the state of California and megacorporations like Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment. Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s chief of staff, is widely believed to have been instrumental in pushing through the 2010 merger of Ticketmaster and Live Nation—a deal that directly benefited his brother, Ari Emanuel, who sat on the board).
The Vegas Pilgrimage: Obama’s Atonement to the Strip
During the financial crisis, Obama made the grave error of sinning outside of Vegas’s jurisdiction:
“You don’t blow a bunch of cash on Vegas when you’re trying to save for college. You prioritize. You make tough choices.” - President Obama, 2010

The backlash was swift, and he was forced to atone—making a pilgrimage to Sin City for a million-dollar DNC fundraiser hosted by George Maloof, then-owner of the Palms Casino. Maloof also had some previous backdoor casino dealings with California with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but as their influence waned, their attempt to relocate the Sacramento Kings was ultimately sidelined by California Governor Jerry Brown.
Kalifornia, Inc.: Corporate Capture of Government and Culture
Four-time governor and failed presidential candidate Jerry Brown’s ties to Hollywood are less obvious than Schwarzenegger’s. (Can you imagine that dolt as an action hero/heartthrob?) But his connections ran deep—allegedly controlled by music mogul Irving Azoff, who generated campaign money through concert fundraisers and managed his girlfriend Linda Ronstadt. Azoff’s son would later receive a political appointment from Brown in 2012 and soon after became Britney Spears’ talent agent in the lead-up to her Las Vegas residencies.

As California Attorney General in 2009, Jerry Brown—taking a sabbatical from the Governor’s office—refused to investigate Britney Spears’s conservatorship.
Let’s not analyze this story’s plot again.
“I don’t think how the state of California can have all this written in the court documents from the time I showed up & do absolutely nothing”
- Britney Spears’s 2021 court testimony that rocked the world
Her testimony rocked the world, cementing her as one of the most famous and profitable victims of human trafficking. Yet the mainstream media has refused to examine the billion-dollar corporations complicit in her exploitation.
Snoop Dogg’s International Trade Gambit With Trump’s America
Snoop Dogg earned global goodwill last year for his coverage of the Paris Olympics, bringing the Olympic torch home to Los Angeles in preparation for the 2028 games. Upon his return, he immediately posted an old video of himself at the Milken Institute, roasting music streaming companies for their lack of transparency in explaining why artists earn minuscule amounts from streaming revenue.
What Olympic sport is Snoop really playing?
Snoop Dogg is quite the entrepreneur, constantly launching new products—which would be annoying if he weren’t so effortlessly charming. In 2017, he declared that any performer who participated in Trump’s inauguration was an “Uncle Tom.”
Fast forward to today: Snoop just performed at a Trump inauguration event. He’s now being called a sellout and a hypocrite. Surely, he knew that aligning with Trump would make him an easy target for criticism. So, is there a bigger game at play?

Unbothered by the backlash,Snoop responded:
"For all the hate, I'm gonna answer it with love. Y'all can't hate enough on me. I love too much."
He continued, "Get your life right. Stop worrying about mine. I'm cool. I'm together. Still a Black man. Still 100% Black." - Snoop Dogg, January 28, 2025
We can talk at length at how the Olympics are consistently harm poor communities. Take, for example, the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, when officials offered the homeless residents a one-way ticket out of town—“as long as the recipient promises never to return and can prove he has a family or job waiting at his destination.”
Now, in Los Angeles, some people suspect that recent wildfires weren’t just acts of nature but deliberate. Could they have been orchestrated by hostile actors? In an era where public trust in elites is at an all-time low, there are plenty of theories—one being that the fires were a "controlled burn" to clear land for Olympic redevelopment.
Is that an outrageous leap of logic considering Casey Wasserman, Chairman of the Olympic Committee, has been tasked by Governor Gavin Newsom to rebuild L.A. after the fires?
1984: Two Minutes To Hate—The Olympic Dynasty
Perhaps Snoop’s efforts to ingratiate himself with the new Trump administration are part of a broader strategy—to fight for his people in California and his colleagues in Hollywood.
After all, the same dynastic families have run Hollywood since it became a global institution. Even the 2028 Olympics are tied to the same power players who brought the Games to Los Angeles in 1984.
Will the federal government ever stop California from being a rogue state?
Democratic Demagogue: Ziffren and Wasserman
Paul Ziffren and Lew Wasserman, both Californians by way of Chicago, were two of the biggest players in Hollywood and politics in the latter half of the 20th century. They were a crucial part of the network that turned Las Vegas into a neon playground, further codifying the Democratic party’s longstanding ties with organized crime.
I’ve written extensively about Lew Wasserman—an architect of Hollywood’s power structure and a key bridge between Washington, D.C., and the entertainment industry. Despite his deep involvement in Democratic politics, he helped groom Ronald Reagan into a Republican governor and, ultimately, President of the United States.

Paul Ziffren
Mr. Ziffren, a tax lawyer, rose to prominence in national Democratic politics in the early 1950's. In 1953, he became a member of the national committee and also reactivated the Western States Democratic Conference, building a bloc of liberals in 12 states to offset the influence of conservative Southerners in the party.
He led the successful lobby to bring the Democratic National Convention to Los Angeles in 1960, a gathering, The New York Times said on Jan. 19, 1959, that "is bound to focus national attention on Democratic triumphs in which Mr. Ziffren has had an important hand."
His quiet manner belied a bold backstage voice in determining everything from which delegations would be seated at the convention to the choice of the Presidential candidate. Hopefuls like John F. Kennedy and Hubert H. Humphrey sought him out.
But three weeks before the convention, Gov. Edmund G. Brown of California removed Mr. Ziffren as a national committeeman. He was accused by associates of the Governor, one of the Presidential hopefuls, of trying to persuade Kennedy to enter the California Presidential primary in opposition to Mr. Brown's favorite-son candidacy.
In 1979 Mr. Ziffren became chairman of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, which sponsored the 1984 Summer Olympics. From 1984 to 1988 he served as chairman of the Amateur Athletic Foundation.

Kenneth Ziffren: Hollywood’s ‘Pope’
Paul’s son, Kenneth, carried on the family legacy, becoming such a dominant force in Hollywood that he was dubbed ‘The Pope’. A 1991 lawsuit him revealed the extent of his rule, illustrating how Hollywood’s true power lies with lawyers and accountants rather than creative talent.
In the broader scope, they portray Hollywood as a place where deal-makers wield more control over movies and TV shows than the people who make them.
Ziffren denies any wrongdoing and said he expects to easily triumph in court. But in Hollywood, the cases are seen as a strike against the insular system in which a handful of top law firms represent both talent and their employers, occasionally at the same time.
“It’s a real dangerous issue,” said one top Hollywood executive who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “By the very nature of their business, these people represent producers, stars, sometimes even studios. The same people are in play all the time, so you’re bound to come across conflicts.”
— L.A. Times, August 23, 1992
Hollywood’s Oligarchic Heirs: Casey Wasserman & Laura Ziffren
Casey Wasserman—a sports and entertainment mogul—the grandson of Lew Wasserman. Laura Ziffren, is Paul Ziffren’s granddaughter, was once married to Casey, making their union the definition of an arranged marriage in Hollywood’s power circles.
Casey Wasserman is now the Chairman of the Los Angeles Organizing Committee for the 2028 Olympics. And in a striking example of bipartisan power-sharing, Elain Chao, Republican Mitch McConell’s wife, serves as Secretary of the Committee.
How’s that for liberal Hollywood and establishment Republican party unity?
Those are just façades for oligarchy.

Kalifornia Koup
Democrats should believe in primaries since they don’t —we can’t tolerate coups. The simple scenario is: Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had their media surrogates ready, once they saw an opening, to pound the drum until Biden dropped out. Their opportunity arrived after Biden’s first debate with Donald Trump on June 27th. Seemingly ideological opposites in the media often act in coordination to enact an agenda, tailoring their arguments to different audiences but always driving toward the same ultimate end goal.
Democrats plastered the mainstream media with calls for Biden to step down, even scoring an op-ed by George Clooney in the New York Times on July 10th. But celebrity endorsements didn’t deliver for the Democrats—many regular people are no longer impressed with ostentatious displays of wealth while they struggle to pay rent and buy groceries.
People forget that during this time, both Biden and Trump were criticizing the media. Biden quickly endorsed Kamala Harris to replace him as the nominee. I believe this was a bunt. Democrats have long acted as a fake resistance to Trump, diverting voters’ attention from their anti-democracy behavior with histrionic claims Trump’s election would bring an immediate fascist dictatorship.
Democrats have long proclaimed moral superiority over conservatives, yet Pelosi continues to make millions from stock trading, Obama bailed out Wall Street, and they couped Bernie Sanders in the 2016 presidential primary. Kamala Harris could have easily distinguished herself from Biden by committing to end the wars, and continuing Biden’s biggest success: his antitrust agenda. She could have fought corporate exploitation by pledging to keep FCC Chair Lina Khan.
Well, none of that happened.
A Biden Backdoor Deal With Speaker Johnson?
Why would Speaker Johnson wait to call out Biden’s cognitive issues?
Upon President Trump’s inauguration in his second term, Speaker Johnson divulged that he had been concerned about Biden’s cognitive decline for the past year and a half. By revealing this information now it kept Biden in the race, but offers insight into the timing, players, and purpose of the Kalifornia Koup.

Johnson became Speaker of the House in October 2023, and despite being second in line for the presidency, he couldn’t get a one-on-one meeting with Biden. He took his concern to the press which finally got the meeting scheduled.
After the meeting, Johnson held a press conference immediately after the meeting saying that it was an “honest and frank conversation” and his purpose for the meeting was to advocate that the federal government must take care of America’s needs first.
Reflecting on the meeting, Johnson later recounted:
"I show up and I realize it's actually an ambush 'cause it's not just me and the president," Johnson said. "It's also Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Hakeem [Jeffries], you know, The CIA Director [Bill Burns]."
Johnson said the group began to "hot box" him on Ukraine funding when Biden asked if he could have the room with him, a request that Johnson said left the president’s staff visibly concerned.
Once Biden and Johnson were alone in the Oval Office, the speaker asked the president about his pause on LNG exports.
"I cannot answer this from my constituents in Louisiana," Johnson recalled telling Biden. "Sir, why did you pause LNG exports to Europe? Liquefied natural gas is in great demand by our allies. Why would you do that? Cause you understand we just talked about Ukraine, you understand you are fueling Vladimir Putin’s war machine, because they gotta get their gas from him."
Consider the scenario: the backers of the Kalifornia Koup were eager to escalate things in Ukraine; Biden, Johnson and Trump were not. Johnson is telling us what he couldn’t say in front of the ambushers.
It is deeply concerning that the situation in Ukraine could have escalated so easily. CIA Director Burns had already been blustering for escalation with Russia two years prior.

Would you cross party lines to draw the line at WWIII?
In this exchange, Johnson said he realized that Biden was not lying to him. “He genuinely did not know what he had signed,” Johnson said. “And I walked out of that meeting with fear and loathing because I thought, “We are in serious trouble—who is running the country?” Like, I don't know who put the paper in front of him, but he didn’t know.” —Free Press, January 17, 2025
If you consider Putin’s 2014 invasion of Crimea is a response to Obama and Clinton’s meddling in Ukraine, and Biden remained committed to doing his damnedest to prevent a direct confrontation with Russia, then I think Biden is totally fine with people thinking he has cognitive decline.

Gavin Newsom: East Meets West
The most plausible Democratic strategy was to replace Biden with California Governor Gavin Newsom. The word is that Biden only ran in 2020 to block Hillary Clinton from running… considering she was anointed by the Democrats in 2016, with no real primary, she certainly could have become the deafault 2020 nominee. Perhaps Biden saw the writing on the wall and chose Kamala to replace hime, to subvert the likes of Clinton or Newsom becoming the nominee.
There had already been a soft launch of Newsom has a national figure with a pac-funded pro-choice ad aired February 26, 2024.
After dropping out, Biden immediately called Newsom. I’d like to believe this was a checkmate. Was Biden more concerned with stopping Democratic elites from handpicking a nominee—overriding the voters’ will—than with preventing another Trump presidency?
Newsom’s retelling of Biden’s historic decision step down conveniently launched his new podcast, Politikin, announced July 3, 2024. Isn’t it interesting that Newsom was one of Biden’s first calls, and his phone was “ringing off the hook”? Did the Big Ds assume Schumer and Pelosi’s coup was victorious?
“The phone was ringing off the hook, and now voicemail is full, and I get all these text messages from the White House saying, ‘The president is trying to get in touch with you,’ but I didn’t even see them because I had 100 missed text messages,” he said. “The president calls, the vice president calls, I’m still in the damn gym, and I literally didn’t even know that they called because the rest of my phone was lighting up.”— Gavin Newsom, August 31
Newsom: Another Nepo Baby From “The Deep State”
As I have previously discussed, we have a definitional dilemma regarding “The Deep State.” Are they patriots protecting U.S. institutions by fighting corruption? Or are they the ooze holding together the anti-American agenda—starting coups worldwide, assassinating JFK, or forcing Richard Nixon to resign (despite his overwhelming second-term mandate)? Which version upholds “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?”
Since starting my research into Hollywood four years ago, I’ve concluded that World War II never ended. Many others have reached this conclusion as well. As powerful Nazis scattered across the world, was the Cold War just a standoff between East and West. Or was it the continuation of an autocratic globalist agenda, infiltrating positions of power across nations and within superficially opposing parties like Democrats and Republicans?
So it follows that Newsom and Pelosi are connected to the same network by only a matter of degrees…
Newsom was born on October 10, 1967 to Tessa Thomas (née Menzies) and William Alfred Newsom III, a state appeals court judge and attorney for Getty Oil. He is a fourth-generation San Franciscan. One of Newsom's maternal great-grandfathers, Scotsman Thomas Addis, was a pioneer scientist in the field of nephrology and a professor of medicine at Stanford University. Newsom is the second cousin, twice removed, of musician Joanna Newsom. Newsom's aunt was married to Ron Pelosi, the brother-in-law of former speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi. —Wikipedia
It is quite interesting that many prominent Americans today, like Newsom, have ties to the post-WWII Nazi network.
The Nazis
’s tweet from last August:

Side note: Inheriting connections to a network is not an indicator of complicity in a person’s malfeasance. It is an immutable characteristic, just like ethnicity, race, or sex. Plus, there can be subversion within the Deep State, even from those who appear to be “collaborator.”
(Like not everyone in Hollywood is bad! I believe Senator Keene’s character in HBO’s The Watchmen is absolutely a caricature of Gavin Newsom.)
Joseph "Joe" Keene Jr. was a Republican Senator from Oklahoma, running a presidential campaign against incumbent President Robert Redford while seemingly aiding the Tulsa police force's fight against the white supremacist terror group Seventh Kavalry, an offshoot of the larger order Cyclops. However, it's later revealed he is secretly the leader of the terror group who seeks to impose a new white supremacist order across the United States and has been organizing the group's massacre of police officers as a way to push for laws protecting cops to keep his positive public image. He then seeks to kidnap Doctor Manhattan to steal his powers so that he can execute his plan to rewrite reality in order to fit his racist mindset. —Watchmen Wiki
Pardon Me, Mr. President
President Biden got a lot of shit for his pardoning his family, Anthony Fauci, and others, as he stumbled out of the White House. Yet as soon as President entered the newly installed revolving door, he immediately made controversial pardons, like the J6ers—a ballsy and unprecedented move for an incoming president. I think many powerful forces have not been held to account for January 6th, whether that be federal or foreign agents fomenting political violence.
Take President Ford’s controversial pardon of Richard Nixon. Ostensibly, it was to help the nation heal and move on. But was it? Or was Ford simply part of the Deep State that couped Nixon, as some have argued he didn’t want a deeper investigation. It’s rarely acknowledged that Vice Presidents and Presidents belong to warring intraparty factions.
Conspiracy theories flourish because people are entitled to the truth—partisan operatives weaponize this desire to advance their own agenda.
Federal investigations are lengthy and costly, so pardons can serve a pragmatic fuction. Regular people need evidence that the government works for them. I wish Trump had pardoned himself during his first term, as Sean Hannity suggested.
'[President Trump], out the door, needs to pardon his whole family and himself, because they want this witch hunt to go on in perpetuity,'" Hannity said. "They're so full of rage and insanity against the president. I mean, it's — can the president — I assume that the power of the pardon is absolute, and that he should be able to pardon anybody that he wants to."
—Sean Hannity, December 1, 2020
BASED & A True Story
Repopulating The People In Politics
We live in an era of inception-level reality assessment. The arc of media narratives makes it incredibly easy to bang out a Hollywood script “based on a true story.” The cultural climate is shifting toward a preference for BASED and true stories—regardless of political affiliation.
I don’t even have to bring this up do I?
It is ironic that well-intentioned people are ride or die for DEI because it promotes a meritocracy. Meanwhile, DEI detractors argue it is an anti-meritocracy quota system. Yet at their core, both sides agree: hard work should pay off, and too often it doesn’t.
DEI has benefited white women the most while championing surface-level diversity. It handpicks candidates committed to upholding institutional power rather than challenging it. The real punchline? The Republican Party has never looked so colorful, even without DEI.
We can’t eliminate nepotism, but transparency is essential to strengthening a meritocracy.
To my former Democratic bedfollows: don’t disintegrate into a feckless partisan resistance. Your DEI always shutout any meaningful engagement with remedying income inequality. It was never about economic justice—it was about inviting select outsiders into your rigid hierarchy, provided they adhered to the decorum of identity politics.
I’ve rethought many of my ideological positions over the years. It’s amusing that Steve Bannon—a right-wing operator, Hollywood producer, and investment banker—now aligns most closely with how I want to advocate moving forward.
